Hands-On Science Center, 

a non-profit learning center in Tullahoma, Tennessee, is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, with a preferred background in science or education.  Five+ years management experience is desirable.  Candidate must have a passion for science and technology.  The HOSC needs a Director with enthusiasm for learning and teaching, excellent presentation skills, and experience with fund-raising and with managing staff and budgets.  Salary and benefits are negotiable. Please submit by email a cover letter, resume and references to This email address is being protected from spambots. The Executive Director of the HOSC is responsible for all daily operations including management of paid and volunteer staff.  The Executive Director is a salaried position and reports to the HOSC Board of Directors.  The HOSC maintains an active hands-on exhibit center, conducts science programs at the center and at local schools, maintains regularly scheduled and special events (some occurring outside normal business hours), operates a gift shop, and has rental facilities for birthday parties.
