About

The Hands-On Science Center (HOSC) in Tullahoma, Tennessee, is a nonprofit regional STEM learning hub dedicated to inspiring curiosity and creativity in learners of all ages. Through interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and educational programs, HOSC makes science accessible, exciting, and fun.

Our center connects children, families, and educators through experiences that encourage exploration, critical thinking, and discovery. From summer camps and homeschool science days to community events and outreach programs, we create opportunities for everyone to learn by doing.

At HOSC, we believe that wonder is where learning begins—and we’re committed to empowering the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders right here in Southern Middle Tennessee.

Mission

The mission of the Hands-On Science Center is to provide a regional learning center to stimulate an interest in, understanding and appreciation of STEM education, particularly among children in their formative years, their parents and their teachers.

Vision

To inspire curiosity and ignite lifelong learning by making hands-on STEM experiences accessible to every child, educator, and family in Southern Middle Tennessee. We envision a future where curiosity drives innovation, and every young mind sees themselves as a creator, problem-solver, and explorer of the world around them.
